Government must not negotiate travel to other countries based on vaccine status

Petition Details

The government are in negotiations with other countries about allowing unfettered travel if someone has had covid jabs. The government should protect all our rights. We are a group and all should be treated equally. The government should protect our individual rights re vaccines.

Additional Information

There are proposals that those having had two jabs be allowed to travel freely to other countries yet those who choose not to get vaccinated are not allowed to enter or have to quarantine either in another country or on return to U.K.

Our government are elected to represent us all. Many of those who chose not to be vaccinated are Tory voters. We may be a minority but the government are obliged to protect our rights equally and to make sure we are all treated equally at home and abroad.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We're not sure whether you want the Government not to seek travel agreements for countries that require a vaccination for entry, or if you want the Government to see to negotiate travel arrangements that do not include a requirement for vaccination.
