Ensure current requirements for the wearing of face coverings remain in place
Parliament should ensure the legal requirement to wear face coverings in certain places in England remains in place until such time as it is safe for it to be lifted.
Face coverings protect those around the wearer. Making the wearing of face coverings discretionary is therefore meaningless and puts those at greatest risk of infection in danger. The UK Parliament must lead by example.
