Do not remove the mandatory requirement to wear face masks in certain areas
Do not remove the mandatory requirement to wear a face mask or a face covering in areas we all have to use i.e hospitals, gp surgeries, private healthcare clinics, supermarkets, trains and tube.
Help prevent covid transmission (studies have shown wearing a mask or a face covering helps to prevent transmission of the virus).
Protect the most vulnerable i.e those with conditions.
Protect those who have not yet been vaccinated and are therefore at a high risk of developing long term complications from covid.
Reduce the imminent burden on healthcare workers.
Reduce anxiety of those needing to use these common spaces (supermarkets, hospitals, trains and tube etc).
