Call for Right to Appeal/Reverse DVSA Examiner’s Decisions on ALL Driving Tests
Currently, if a driving test candidate challenges a questionable decision by a Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency Examiner on Practical Driving Tests/ADI Tests in cars/lorries etc, the DVSA won’t reverse the decision. If an appeal is successful only a retest under the Road Traffic Act 1988 is allowed
Reform Road Traffic Act 1988 Section 133 appeal questionable decisions by DVSA Examiners on all Driving Tests. The Right to Appeal is an integral part of the UK constitution derived from Common Law/Bill of Rights 1689. A new law & full powers for tribunals to address unresolved complaints, failures, errors & reverse decisions with right for candidates to call for examiners/witnesses to appear. Due to Covid-19, ADIs/PDIs/Trainers face forced removal from DVSA registers or to return their license

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. There is already a legal right to challenge a decision in Section 133 as set out in the petition, which may then be subject to further legal challenge.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do, such as giving the courts the power to reverse a decision
