End the bullying of teaching staff by senior leadership with a ‘change agenda’
4/5 teachers have recently reported to have been bullied in their workplace. Many are leaving the profession and there is a recruiting crisis. Senior leaders should be held accountable if they use tactics to push out more expensive, experienced staff to make way for NQTs.
This issue will only continue to get worse if ignored. Teachers are reporting abuse to their governing bodies, local authorities, unions and OFSTED to no avail. If there is a law in place that will hold senior leaders to account when they use recognised tactics to force teachers out of their schools (because they’re deemed too expensive or too influential) then more teachers will stay in the profession and young people’s education will not suffer.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Unfair and constructive dismissal can already be challenged:

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
