Proof of indentity required to have access to a social media account.
Proposal for government to make it mandatory that social media platforms require proof of indentity for anyone that owns an account. Hopefully this will serve as an aid in the identification of trolls, racists and criminals online should they need to be indentified and prosecuted.
In light of constant bullying online; black citizens being racially abused, celebrities having death threats and people generally spreading their vitriolic diatribe without repercussion something has to be done. Verifying your identity through a credit card, bank account, driving license, passport will aid in the identification of such individuals. We can then in turn ban then from public sporting venues, fine them and imprison them should they need to be.
