Petition Action

Require social media platforms’ terms of use to prohibit racism and hate speech

Petition Details

The government should force social media companies to ban racism and bullying in every form on their platforms and to create punishments for the perpetrators.

Additional Information

It saddens me that many people think it is okay to racially abuse England football players. There have been cases of racially abusive comments which these platforms say don't break their community guidelines when they've been reported. This needs to change and we need to come together to achieve this.
