For heavy fixed penalties for racial , suicidal enabling, sexual abuse online.
I want to have heavy fixed penalties for racial abuse, suicidal enabling, sexual abuse and online. Also I want social media platforms legally obliged to remove the perpetrators when they have been fined.
We need to stamp down racial abuse and suicidal enabling and any abuse online. The internet has been around for sometime we are intelligent beings surely we can police this and differentiate abuse snd freedom of speech. We do it in the workplace. This could be a UK law and if abuse comes from overseas you can move that legally social media has to block users

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about certain activity online, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
Online abuse and encouraging or assisting suicide are already offences. Prosecuting these offences and deciding what penalties to apply are a matter for the Crown Prosecution Service and the courts, not the Government or House of Commons.
We could accept a petition calling for minimum sentences to be increased for certain offences, but it would need to be clear what offences you wanted minimum sentences to be changed for, and how you wanted these to be increased.
