Put people who have committed any type of hate crime on a register
Much like the sex offenders register, there should be an accessible list of every person who is convicted of any type of hate crime in this country.
Following the outburst of racist abuse after the final of the Euros this week it is abundantly clear that the country needs to do more to prevent hate crimes before they are able to be committed. Just as with sex offenders, communities deserve to know who they are working with and living near.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you want there to be a register of people convicted of hate crimes, but we're not sure if you want this list to be publicly available. You refer to the sex offenders list, which is not publicly available, but also say that this list should be accessible and enable communities to know know who they are working with and living near.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
