Create legal requirement for all cyclists to wear a helmet and other safety gear
The Government should make it a legal requirement for all cyclists to wear a helmet, high visibility clothing, and appropriate footwear.
If they are involved in an accident, cyclists risk serious injury or death if they are not wearing sufficient safety gear, especially a helmet. Instead of it being advisory it should be a legal requirement.
