Give Marcus Rashford a knighthood for his actions to combat poverty
I understand that the Queen ultimately decides who should be knighted but the government should nominate him. The contributions he has made to combat poverty in this country should warrant far more than an MBE.
His work during the pandemic to ensure no child goes hungry is far more than 'gesture politics' it has made a hugely positive impact on peoples lives. And this is all in the face of disgusting racism. He receives near constant abuse and he deals with it in a way that is mature beyond his years.
