Make Virginity Testing illegal
We call on the government to prohibit and criminalise virginity testing procedures in England and Wales.
These procedures are humiliating, have no scientific benefit, and are a violation of human rights. Virginity testing is an abusive procedure that can put women, girls, and those with vaginas at risk, for example, so-called honour killings.
