Pass a law compelling all electric vehicle manufacturers to make their vehicles audable to pedestrians
As I grow older I become more forgetful and sometimes careless when I cross aroad whilst in deep thought.

From 1 July 2019 all manufacturers have been required to install an acoustic sound system in new types of quiet electric and hybrid electric vehicles to improve road safety.
