Construction of all new houses in the local stone.

Additional Information

In recent years the majority of new housing developments have been built in the same red brick, creating a sadly homogeneous look to new developments and failing to respect the character of the existing historic settlement. Therefore it is suggested that new builds should to an extent imitate existing construction to lessen such an impact. This would also benefit local resource providers by creating a market.
