Place a Zebra crossing in Watling Street
Due to the high volume of traffic this busy stretch of needs a zebra crossing.
Watling Steet, by Dartford Fire Station, is a very busy stretch of road.
There are many families having to use this road daily, especially going to and from a local school, and there are NO SAFE places to cross this road.
A Zebra crossing would be extremely beneficial to this neighbourhood.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or House of Commons is responsible for.
Decisions about local road improvements are a matter for individual local authorities, not the Government or House of Commons. As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.
You could raise this issue with a local councillor, who represents you. You can use this page to find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them: www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors
You can also petition your local council directly. Find out how to petition your council here: democracy.kent.gov.uk/mgepetitionlistdisplay.aspx?bcr=1
