Exempt childcare workers from self-isolation if contacted by NHS Test and Trace

Petition Details

The Government should exempt all childcare workers from the requirement to self-isolate if they are contacted by NHS Test and Trace because they have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.

Additional Information

Childcare is crucial for parents to enable them to work. If childcare staff are contacted the childcare is often closed due to lack of staff. It is a crucial this is actioned immediately. Childcare staff regularly test to safeguard people around them. Childcare was asked by government to stay open when covid first hit to ensure crucial staff were able to work, now they have been forgotten.
