Fund checks for premature placenta calcification for pregnant women
If unidentified this can lead to still born babies. I was one of the lucky ones whose water broke early to discover my baby born alive but my placenta completely calcified. If I had gone to 40+ weeks like most women, I could have had a stillbirth and my baby would not be here today.
