Make it law to have at least one “outrider” stationed at every major race track
Horse racing in Britain is a £5 billion industry moreover falls, injury and danger are apart of Britain’s second favourite sport, however making it law to supply outriders with retrained racehorses/otherwise to catch loose horses would minimise risk to riders, horses and bystanders.
In the last 5 years an estimated 812 horses have died on British tracks, a large number of these caused by loose horses, becoming hazards, getting tangled into the “peloton” or otherwise - stationing one outside rider with ex-racehorse (or otherwise) on the track would mean loose horses could be caught, as said above minimising risk, it would also provide “use” for ex-race horses some of which face knackers yards, no specific training is required, help prevent unnecessary death

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or House of Commons is responsible for.
Decisions about managing horse races are a matter for the organisers, not the Government or House of Commons. As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.
