Free parking for NHS staff members or designated park and ride for staff.
To discuss the possibility’s of either free parking for nhs staff members to be able to park on site at there designated hospital etc. Or for areas to be made into park and rides for NHS staff members.
Our streets in Sunderland have become more clogged up with permits lining councils pockets, rather than finding a solution to the cause. More and more permits are being put in place pushing the parking further of staff further afield into other streets causing parking issues in streets where there was never an issue. Obviously there was an issue in places but now it’s become wider spread due to dim witted council personnel.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.

Decisions about local park and ride schemes would be a matter for relevant local authorities, although the Government could provide funding for these, if you'd like to start a petition requesting that.
