Assign police with stalker case advocates.
Employing stalker case advocates (SCA) frees up police officers to deal with other cases. Whilst having a SCA ensures the case is dealt with seriously and thoroughly, keeping the victims safe.
Police officers are stretched to their limits now with not enough man hours to be on the cases consistently. Have specialist officers to deal with stalking cases only ensures consistent thorough investigations, speedy court appearances and more in-depth training to spot any gap in the risks of harm to patients.

Decisions about staffing are a matter for individual police forces, not the Government or House of Commons. As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to provide additional funding for stalking advocates for victims of stalking, if that's something you would like to happen.
