Stop building on Essex countryside.
So many proposals are being put forward to build on our countryside and green belt land in and around Essex. We are losing all out beauty spots and it’s destroying the very thing that attracts people to Essex, the countryside. Wildlife is being affected and there is not enough infrastructure.
Crime rates are increasing in Essex, police are stretched, doctors are full, roads are clogged and there are continual proposals to build more and more houses. Wildlife will deplete and all our walking paths and countryside will be destroyed.
This needs to stop!

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or House of Commons is responsible for.
Decisions about local planning decisions are a matter for individual local authorities, not the Government or House of Commons. As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.
If you are concerned about planning decisions in your area you could raise this issue with a local councillor, who represents you. You can use this page to find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them: www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors
We have published the following petitions, which you might like to sign:
