Offer government grants hgv class 2 drivers for class 1 training
To help tackle the hgv driver shortage a government grant should be introduced for class 2 drivers who cannot afford to pay for training in order to progress to class 1 to help tackle the hgv driver shortage
As the hgv driver shortage Continues to cause problems across the country there are many class 2 drivers willing to progress to class 1. Which in turn would help to reduce the hgv driver shortage. But many of the drivers face in regards to affordability and therefore can't. If a government grant was to be introduced so that many drivers were in the position to be able take on training this would only help to combat the national driver shortage
