Where abuse is alleged, financial and children matters linked in Family Court
We want parliament to change the law so that perpetrators of domestic abuse cannot use the courts to continue to abuse their victims. We want the secrecy around the family courts to be removed so that women can get the support they need whilst going through the family courts
The current system allows domestic abuse to continue be perpetuated impacting the mental health of the victims and their children. Women are being left in thousands of pounds of debt as perpetrators continually take them back to court in order to emotionally abuse them. Using Parental alienation to access the courts when there is clear evidence of abuse and a risk to mother and children
