Have the government take the climate crisis seriously and act on it urgently
Listen to the IPCC report warning; end fossil fuel investment immediately and invest in green fuel. Agree to a Green new deal that takes the climate crisis seriously and does everything that it can to reverse the damage. Invest in rewilding, local food, local energy and climate emergency centres.
As a mother, the current way that the client crisis is being dealt with by the government is blatantly disregarding my children's future. I want them to be able to live on a planet that is healthy and well cares for by its human inhabitants.
We have the means, but we don't have the time. We need our leaders to take care of our children's future and to use their power to make positive change. Working nationally and at regional and community level, leaders can make this happen.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about the climate crisis, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
We have published the following petitions, which you might like to sign:
Introduce charges on carbon emissions to tackle climate crisis and air pollution: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/574678
Create a fund for e-fuel technology research and deployment: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/576193
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
