This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about certain crimes, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. There are already a number of offences that cover illegal activities referred to in your petition. Decisions about investigating alleged offences and prosecuting these are a matter for the police and Crown Prosecution Service, not the Government or House of Commons.

We could accept a petition calling for increased penalties for certain offences, but it would need to be clear what offences you want penalties to be increased for.

If you have been the victim of a crime you should report this to the police: www.police.uk/forces/
