Petition Action

UK Government to honour scholarships that were offered to Afghanistan students.

Petition Details

It has been reported that Afghan students offered scholarships by the UK government to study here from next month have been told they will not now be able to take up their places.

The reason given was that British Embassy there would not finish preparations in time for this year.

Additional Information

We feel the UK government can finish the preparation of these applications in the UK and honour the scholarships that were granted. These students have put in so much effort to achieve these scholarships and now more than ever, they desperately need it.
