Give Sir Laurie Bristow, the British Ambassador in Afghanistan, a Victoria Cross
Sir Laurie Bristow has served as the British Ambassador to Afghanistan since June 2021. He stayed behind during the fall of Kabul to personally process visa applications, putting his own life at risk.
To put it simply, Sir Laurie Bristow showed valour in the face of the enemy, putting his own life at risk by doing so. This petition is addressed to Her Majesty's Government and requests that Sir Laurie Bristow is given a Victoria Cross for his heroic actions in Kabul.
