Review of laws on assisted suicide
We request that the government review the current laws on assisted suicide and provide a system whereby those with terminal illness or an intolerable quality of life, are allowed to request a medically assisted suicide.
It is our plea that the government look to find a system with ample safeguards and protections that allow us to choose to end our own life, or to be assisted in doing so, it if becomes so intolerable to not do so.
