Provide asylum to Afghans threatened by the Taliban & forced to flee Afghanistan
The impact of the current situation on Afghan civilians is devastating. We call on the UK government to provide asylum to vulnerable Afghan refugees threatened by the Taliban and forced to flee Afghanistan.
In the last month more than 1,000 people have been killed by attacks against civilians.
At least 241,000 people have been forced to flee from their homes. Hospitals are overflowing. Food and medical supplies are dwindling. Roads, bridges, schools, clinics and other critical infrastructure are being destroyed.
Every day, the conflict is taking an even bigger toll on women and children.
Continued conflict will mean continued carnage with civilians paying the highest price.
