Make Chain Shops Carbon Footprint Accessible To The Public!
As you know, we are in a global climate crisis. Fast fashion is a leading contributor to this crisis, it's very easy to be misled by big shops! This is called greenwashing. Companies legally declaring their carbon footprint will help consumers make the correct decision when shopping!
"Greenwashing is the process of conveying a false impression or providing misleading information about how a company's products are more environmentally friendly"
Companies will never tell consumers the whole story. For example, a company saying "we have reduced the plastic within our products so we are more environmentally friendly!" but behind the scenes, are using TONS of non-renewable energies! This is disgusting and deceptive to the vulnerable shopper and NEEDS to be stopped!
