Provide assistance, safe passage & refugee status to Kabul embassy guards.
The c. 125-strong team of Afghan security personnel who risked their lives guarding the British citizens at the embassy in Kabul have been told they do not qualify for assistance from the U.K. as they were hired through a third party. Their lives are at dire risk.
When these men put their lives at risk to guard our citizens in Kabul, we created a moral contract to protect them in their time of need. We need urgent government action to provide assistance, safe passage and refuge to these individuals and their family members. It is a stain on this nation that we must do our urgent best to correct.
