Petition Action

Help to restore human rights and freedoms in Ukraine

Additional Information

We, the Ukrainian community in Great Britain, and other concerned persons call for your help to restore human rights and freedoms and prevent further violence in Ukraine.

We urge you to:
Impose individual sanctions against those under whose authority the police violence takes place, including the Minister of the Interior, the President and others who oppress democratic freedoms, by freezing their personal bank accounts and the assets of institutions and individuals affiliated with them.

Apply sanctions on travel to the EU until all criminal or administrative proceedings are stopped and all protesters detained are freed.

Launch a public investigation into the financial dealings of the Ukrainian oligarchs who have property and financial holdings in the UK to ensure that they are not, or have not in the past, been involved in criminal activity, such as tax evasion, money laundering, bribery or corruption.
