Ban the use of plastic food packaging

Petition Details

Please take away this option for companies to choose profit over the environment. The Government should ban all plastic food packaging. This can be done over a number of years with support for businesses during a transition period.

Additional Information

Many of us are trying hard to reduce the amount of plastic waste we’re producing.
Companies don’t make this easier when they bring a new product to market that still uses plastic.
