Petition Action

Complete the ring road around Worcester City.

Petition Details

The Worcester City ring road needs completing. As if you want to get from Clains to St. John’s the traffic is terrible. With all the the new developments it will get worse. On average a 3 bed house has has 2 adults and 2/3 children. That means in 20 years each 3 bed house could produce 5 cars each.

Additional Information

As it keeps being put off and needs sorting out by somebody in power to make it go ahead.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Local planning decisions are a matter for individual local authorities, not the Government or House of Commons. As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.

If you are concerned about planning decisions in your area you could raise this issue with a local councillor, who represents you. You can use this page to find out who your local councillors are, and how to contact them: www.gov.uk/find-your-local-councillors
