Provide Homes For British Homeless People Before Accepting New Refugees
We demand that the UK Government helps its own citizens before agreeing to help refugees and asylum seekers from Afghanistan or any other country.
It is estimated that in 2019 in England alone there were 280,000 homeless people (1) and 136,000 homeless children living in temporary accommodation (2).
The UK Government cannot justify settling 20,000 Afghani citizens in the UK (3) when there are British people, including children, without a home in their own country.
