Restaurants to provide accessibility information on their website
To make it a requirement for accessibility information to be published
E.g
Access
Toilets
Menus in other formats e.g Braille
Because as a wheelchair user it’s very time consuming to ask each establishment individually and many don’t respond at all
It would make eating out so much simpler for disabled people

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the content of specific websites, and many restaurants do not have their own websites.
You could start a petition calling for a legal requirement for all hospitallity venues to be required to publish accessibility information, if that's something you'd like to see happen. It would then be for the Government to consider how this should be published, such as on a specific GOV.UK site.
