Back ethics framework & protect job losses due to hyper-automation & AI.
Government should:
-Ask businesses, innovators to assess the risk
- Show evidence of the impact of automation on society and workers.
- If it impacts over 5,000 jobs, approval should be required
- People should have the right to withdraw from sharing their knowledge for automation purposes.
Due to increased automation and unregulated AI innovations, a PWC report forecasts up to 40% of job losses by 2030.
Protecting people's intelligence acquired over time and allowing them to negotiate the terms of automation will create a harmonised ecosystem. Enabling a balance between hyper-automation, human rights and potential socio-economic welfare.
Lack of governance for highly sophisticated technologies leads to a "monopoly" for technology firms and higher levels of unemployment for many.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We understand you're concerned about the potential impact of automation and artificial intelligence on jobs. However it's not clear whether you want the Government to impose an 'ethics framework' or support one which already exists, nor what this framework would contain.
It's also not clear which automated tasks would constitute 'automation' for the purposes of assessing the impact on 5000+ jobs, nor whose approval would be required for such automation to be permitted.
You could have a petition calling for the Government to commission a review into the potential impact of automation and AI on jobs, if that is something you wish to see happen.
