Bring 2nd birthing partners back into labour!
To fight for the NHS to allow expectant mothers to choose two birthing partners for their labour so they have the ability for their extra support during child birth.
Expectant mothers have a really difficult time during labour and that one extra person can provide so much extra support for the mother's mental health during labour but her strength and ability to give birth safely. I firmly believe that now all covid-19 restrictions have been released that this should be the next thing. Women want their mothers or a doula to be there as well as their husband, wife or partner in labour. A lateral flow test with PPE worn is enough to allow this to go ahead.
