Tamar Bridge tolls
REGULAR users of the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry are expected to face an 80p a month levy on their accounts.
The cash will be used to plug a growing gap in the budget caused by flat traffic levels and rising costs.
The current toll is £1.50 for cars, or 75 pence for electronic tag users, and the new fee could raise an extra £506,000 a year.
The Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry are jointly owned and operated by Cornwall Council and Plymouth City council
Instead, regular users who have Tamar Tags will be expected to pay the costs
Let's do something now and stop
The rise in cost the south west has the highest prices for water and living and now they want more from us ....
