Limit footballers wages in the UK
Rugby has a cap on wages (as do most major sports in the UK) meaning that the professionals are not earning more in a year than most do in a lifetime.
If the football club owners want to pay that same amount as they do at the moment, spend a maximum of a certain figure (rugby is only £4.75 million) to their players, and then give the rest to either develop their community or send in overseas development projects.
