Commission a review into NHS salaries
The increase in National Insurance contributions and other taxes should be dedicated to those people who are physically involved in delivering health care ie operations, after care. I have no objection to the rises if they are dedicated to those areas.
We constantly hear about NHS executives salaries being out of all proportion to what is reasonable or deserved. There are also instances where failed executives have been moved to other positions and even paid severance money only to resurface in another highly paid NHS role. The Government should review all NHS salaries, with a view to reducing costs of the most senior roles.
