Stop the fitness industry advertising with athletes on steroids
All sportswear and gym clothing advertising in the UK should be mandated to use Drug tested athletes or state clearly on the advert that the model shown is an "untested athlete".
This is similar to fashion magazines photoshopping models and creating un-realistic expectations which is now banned. Many young people then go on to perform dangerous exercises, dangerous diets etc chasing an unnatural physique they will never obtain. It also encourages Steroid use, as we are constantly bombarded with these naturally un-achievable figures. Performance Enhancing drugs can have serious health ramifications. There are also a raft of mental health issues trying to obtain "the look"

This is a matter for the Advertising Standards Authority. It is also already illegal to include deceptive messages in advertisements under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008.
