To ban goldfish being given as prizes st fairgrounds
To stop goldfish being given as prizes at fun fairs. They are living creatures who need a great deal of care. They are not a throw away item.
Most of the goldfish will end up in the hands of people who do not know the correct care, or somone not willing to spend the money to give them the correct care. Goldfish can live 20+ years and are a long commitment. Which will lead to them being dumped.
