Regulate Animal Breeding Across the UK
Throughout the UK there are thousands of animals euthanized on a weekly basis due to the amount that end up abandoned or in rescue centres. While many charities do their best to help get these animals back up to full health and rehomed, there is still an ongoing issue with animals being overbred for money.
Before breeding these animals are not being given the correct health checks either resulting in badly bred stock continually flooding the streets and then abandoned, being left in shelters.
There needs to be restrictions put in place to protect these animals and reduce the amount being neglected, abandoned or dying due to lack of knowledgeable homes and care.
Licensed and insured for all animals (breeding or not)
Registered, licensed and insured for breeding.
Microchipping for ALL animals (this must be done along with first vaccinations)
A national database of each animal.
Proof of ownership and registered at a vet.
Vaccinations annually.
