The UK government to set out sanctions on trade with the Faroe Islands.
In light of the deliberate slaughter of 1486 white-sided dolphins on the shores of the Faroe Islands
The UK has recently signed a £200,000,000 trade deal with the Faroe Islands. The UK and DEFRA are committed to high standards of animal welfare and preservation of wildlife.
If we are to forge stronger trading relationships with the Faroe Islands we need to hold them to account to our own national standards of animal welfare.
