Bring in a compulsory towing training, Certificate of Towing competence.
For the safety of every road user make it compulsory for training to be carried out with the B+E car and Trailer. There needs to be some standards set without the need to take a DVSA test which is being removed. Instructors to carry out Towing competence with a pass plus like certification.
DO NOT COMPROMISE ROAD SAFETY!
Stopping car and trailer test and allowing people to drive 7 metre long, 3500 kg caravans on our roads without a clue on how to drive it or load it.
These people will have no idea how to hook up modern trailers , no clue on how to load them properly
You are changing the law on the basis of rushing through lorry tests , by doing so you are putting not only road safety at risk, you are putting thousands of people out of business!
