Make it illegal to remove & keep any coarse fish from our rivers & lakes in UK
Thousands of course fish and being taken from rivers and lakes each year to be eaten at home or sold. This, along with the introduction of otters and the invasion of cormorants on inland waters is having a devastating effect on our coarse fish numbers.
We need to make it illegal to take fish for our rivers and lakes and it is unsustainable and stocks are being dramatically reduced. This will only be effective if the Environment Agency and/or Police actively address this problem.
