End the UK-Faroe Islands Trade Agreement in response to the grindadráp.
We call on the UK Government to end the UK-Faroe Islands Trade Agreement as sanction for the continued annual slaughter of whales and dolphins (the grindadráp), sending a clear message ahead of COP26 that we cannot tolerate deliberate environmental and ecological damage caused by our trade partners.
*The Government, hosting COP26, claims to be a world leader on environmental issues and should be setting an appropriate example.
*On Sunday 12th September, in the latest grindadráp, the Faroese inhumanely killed an entire superpod of 1428 White-sided Dolphins (a protected species) equating to 2% of the entire global population.
*The systematic and deliberate killing of Cetaceans is outlawed by all other European nations.
