Offer automatic category C licence entitlement to category d licence holders.
Cat d and cat c are very similar vehicle, so similar in fact some are the same chassis just different body types. One holds passengers and one holds goods. Giving category c entitlement to category d licence holders is the safest way to bridge the gap in the supply chain quickly.
Cat d and cat c are very similar vehicle, so similar in fact some are the same chassis just different body types. One holds passengers and one holds goods. With the current shortage of lorry drivers and the knock on effects on the supply chain this is the quickest way to help solve the issue.
