Release the criteria for a country to be on the green and amber list
The Government need to release the criteria they use to inform their decisions to move countries to/from the green and amber lists.
Currently there are 54 countries on the red list, many with figures much lower than those on green and amber.
As British citizens we are entitled to know the reasoning behind decisions that directly affect us.
No information has been released as to what the actual criteria for the travel system is, which is causing a lot of confusion and stress.
Many people are stuck in a cycle of bookings that started prior to the pandemic. By understanding the criteria we can make informed decisions about next steps so that we can look forward to eventually being reunited with loved ones abroad.
